Damaged Gutters and Soffit Restored in Logan
Challenge
The gutters on this Logan property were severely damaged—sections were bent, crushed, and pulling away from the fascia. In some areas, downspouts had been hit and dented, leaving them unable to carry water effectively. Behind the damaged gutters, the fascia boards showed signs of rot and water infiltration, even attracting wasp nests. Clogged channels full of debris and leaves only added to the strain, preventing proper water flow and putting the soffit and siding at risk.
Without a full repair, the damage could have led to leaks, structural wood rot, and costly repairs to both the roofline and the brick siding below.
Solution
We removed the broken gutter sections and installed new seamless gutters that properly align with the roofline for maximum water control. Damaged downspouts were replaced with clean, straight units to restore smooth drainage. Rotten fascia areas were reinforced, and the soffit was repaired where water had caused staining and weakness.
By clearing debris and ensuring water can move freely through the system, the home is now protected from overflow and wood damage. The upgraded setup not only strengthens the home’s defense against heavy Utah storms but also improves the property’s curb appeal with a sharp, clean finish.
