This project started with failing fascia and subfascia around the entire home. Boards were loose, sections were dropping, and the soffit had begun to sag. To get everything structurally sound again, we removed all existing fascia and subfascia and rebuilt it the right way.
We added custom rafter tail extenders to strengthen the overhang and bring the structure out past the original soffit line. These extenders also let us reconnect the failing soffit boards so they are now secure, supported, and properly aligned. After that, we installed new two inch by six inch boards around the home to create a clean, solid foundation for the wrap and the future gutter system.
There is a gap along the bottom that will be covered with coil wrap after the rebuild is complete. With about two thirds of the home already wrapped in the new two inch by six inch boards, you can see the transformation taking shape. Once the coil wrap is installed, everything will be sealed, protected, and ready for long term performance.
