Downspout Extensions and Raindrop Upgrade in Salt Lake City, UT
Challenge
This Salt Lake City home had downspouts that ended too close to the foundation, allowing water to pool near the base of the house during storms. Over time, that kind of runoff can erode soil, stain concrete, and lead to foundation stress or leaks. The existing system also lacked proper debris protection, leaving the downspouts prone to clogging.
Solution
We installed new elbows and extended the downspouts to move rainwater safely away from the home, preventing future pooling and foundation wear. To add long-term protection, we fitted the system with Raindrop gutter guards designed to keep out debris while maintaining strong water flow.
The result is a cleaner, more efficient setup that protects both the foundation and the landscaping while reducing maintenance for the homeowner. With Raindrop and extended downspouts in place, this system is ready for any Utah storm.
