Gutter Cleaning & Repair - When the rafter tails extend and the overhang gets deep, the sub fascia becomes more than just wood - it becomes a system that has to be wrapped, shaped, and sealed with precision.

In this video, we are moving into the final section of the project — installing and wrapping the upgraded sub fascia. This part of the job shows multiple stages at once: the extended rafter tails, the new 2x6 sub fascia being installed, and the detailed trim coil wrapping that brings everything together into a clean, finished look.

Because this home had a large overhang (or underhang), and because we upsized the sub fascia, the trim coil wrap had to extend all the way around the back to fully seal the system. And since the rafter tails were extended, we added a custom L piece to cover the newly formed gap. This not only keeps the entire structure clean and visually seamless, but also keeps pests like wasps out, protects the wood, and ensures the gutter system will perform the way it should.
